TEC 964: iPads in the Classroom

The iPad has proven its tremendous potential to revolutionize the way students learn and teachers teach. This versatile teaching and learning tool becomes a textbook, calculator, drawing pad, interactive map, or speaking dictionary - all with an intuitive swipe of a finger. The iPad brings the world (via the Internet) literally into your hands.

This course will focus on a wide variety of educational apps and their use in everyday lessons, including an interactive survey of popular apps. A review of iPad technology and a ‘tips and tricks’ section rounds out the course. The iPad is a perfect way to integrate technology into the classroom and into the hands of students; this course will help you do just that!

The course workbook is a PDF document that can be read online or downloaded (recommended) to you computer. You will find links to the PDF both in Canvas and the course website.
